2008 Tournament News

As many of you already know, the recent funding difficulties at the Lab have resulted in a series of furloughs and layoffs. Combined with the reduced workload, the implementation of FTL, morale has approached lows not seen since...well, since never.

With this in mind, the Tournament Office has decided to reformat the 2008 Tournament to a series of voluntary non-points events, in addition to the one, winner take all, points event on June 13th. Such potential events include Lake Michigan smelt fishing, a bar-b-que fishing date at a select Main Injector Pond and, of course, one or two Lake Michigan charters with Captain Dave.

It should be noted that this reduced tourament schedule is NOT a reflection that none of the teams could possibily compete with the fishing dynasty known as The Carp Pros - your four (4) time, undefeated champs.
