September 26th - Unverified Results

According to some report, Tim fished on Friday at lunch and managed to land two (2) fish. One was 2 lb 12 oz and the other was 3 lb 4 oz

September 25th - Two Anglers - Two Fish

Despite a shortend fishing period, Tomski and Steve still managed to get in a few minutes of fishing at lunch today. Steve landed two, but Tom was just a near miss away from getting off the skunk list. Here's the stats:

End Of The Open Segment?

It's been suggested that the Tournament Office should end the Open Segment on September 30th since the fish aren't biting. Please weigh in with the poll on the right

September 23 - Ron Is On The Board!

Good news despite a slow day at the ponds - Ron is on the board with an estimated 7 oz largemouth bass. This puts the pressure on Jim who has still yet to visit the ponds for the Open Segment. Here's the results:

September 22nd - Water Down, Fishing Up

The ponds have receded from flood stage and the emaciated fish have started biting again. After a poor start at MI-40, four hardy anglers moved to the west end of MI-60 for some action. Here's the results:
Tim: 0 lb 7 oz, 2 lb 2 oz, 1 lb 5 oz
Chuck: 1 lb 0 oz

September 18th - How Slow Can You Go

Except for some 11th hour action it was as slow as a $100k req in a continuing resolution out there today. Steve had the bites, but couldn't land them. Luckily Tim was there to prevent the whole crew from ending up on the skunk list. Here's the summary:

September 16th - A Close Call

Tomski must have been sweating at lunch today as Tim landed a 3 lb 5 oz largemouth bass. Despite an attempted fabrication of the photo, the Tournament Office has agreed to count the fish towards Tim's creel. It's his personal best and second place, for the Open Segment. Here's the summary:

It's not clear if it was the rain, the solunar tables or the north wind, but fishing remains slow.  Today at lunch, Chuck and Steve visited MI-60 and only came away with one (1) fish.

September 5th - A Turnaround Begins

The weather was still unsettled today, but several anglers took to the waters of MI-60 both at lunch and after work. The bass were biting, but not quite a fish fest. Here's the results:
