Two teams (Bass Poles and Carp Pros) sent scouts to MI-60 for a 3-1/2 hour pre tournament fishing session earlier today at MI-60. This session included the first field testing of the official digital scale. At lunch, the two scouts were joined by the remaining member of the Carp Pros and one angler from Trouthoff.
Here's a tally of the catch:
Tomski (Bass Poles): 7 fish, total catch: 10 lbs 5 oz, largest: 3lb 4oz
Steve (Carp Pros): 8 fish, total catch: 11 lbs 7 oz, largest: 2lb 12oz
Merle (Carp Pros): 2 fish, total catch: 3 lbs 4 oz, largest: 2lb 4oz
Tim (Trouthoff): 1 fish, total catch: 0 lbs 5 oz, largest: 0lb 5oz
(It's interesting to note that if this were a points event, the Carp Pros would have a combined top five fish weighing 9 lbs 13 oz.)
